Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking experienced Medical Receptionists for temporary and temp-to-hire opportunities in the Pasadena/Burbank/Glendale, California areas. This position is perfect for candidates who thrive in fast-paced clinical environments and enjoy providing excellent patient care at the front desk. As a Medical Receptionist, individuals will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and efficient front office experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with medical office operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
• Verify insurance information and collect co-pays
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
• Coordinate with medical staff to support daily operations

Qualifications

Required:

• Previous medical front desk or medical receptionist experience
• Strong understanding of HIPAA guidelines and patient privacy
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy healthcare setting

Preferred:

• Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems
• Familiarity with insurance verification and referrals

Required Work Hours

The position requires availability from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility depending on the needs of the healthcare organization.
